Cricketer Rishabh Pant is undergoing treatment after a dangerous accident on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. On December 30 last year, his luxury Mercedes car collided with the divider, after which it caught fire. The car was gutted in a short time. He was going to his home in Roorkee to ‘surprise’ his mother. After primary treatment at a local hospital, he is undergoing treatment at Max Dehradun.
Now the doctors have released the latest health update of Rishabh Pant. The condition of cricketer Rishabh Pant is now improving and he has been shifted from the ICU of Max Hospital to the private ward. Sources said that after his condition improved on Sunday evening, he was shifted to a private ward, but the pain in his leg continues. He said that there is no plan for MRI as of now.
Let us inform that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) director Shyam Sharma, Bollywood actors Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher met Pant and his relatives in the hospital. Pant has so far scored 2,271 runs in 33 Tests including five centuries and 11 half-centuries. He has also represented the country in 30 ODIs and 66 T20s.
Earlier on Sunday, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami had said that his government would honor the bus driver and conductor of Haryana Roadways who saved Rishabh Pant’s life. Dhami had said that by risking his life to save the life of the cricketer, the driver-conductor of Haryana Roadways has set an example for others. He said that the state government will honor him on January 26. At the time of the accident, bus driver Sushil Kumar and conductor Paramjit, who were near the spot, took Pant out of the car and informed the police.
