“Every person In Jharkhand Can Get A LPG Cylinder For Rs 450 – Infiltrators Or Not’: BJP Slams Congress’ Election Promise

Ghulam Ahmed Mir, AICC General Secretary and Jharkhand in-charge, created controversy on Thursday (14 November) during an election rally by claiming that if the party comes to power, all inhabitants of the state will be furnished with gas cylinders for Rs 450, whether they are “infiltrators or not.”

Attending an election rally in the Chandrapura region of the Bermo constituency, Ghulam Ahmed Mir said, “We have promised that if our government is formed, we will provide gas cylinders at Rs 450 starting December 1.” This will be for everyone, either Hindu, Muslim, or infiltrators; it will be given out to all citizens of Jharkhand, irrespective of other variables.

The BJP strikes back against Congress on its promise! The BJP has fiercely objected to Congress’ vow, stating that it is “anti-national” and reflects the party’s appeasement and polarization policy. This allegation comes as BJP leaders accuse the JMM-led alliance of shielding infiltrators in the state for “vote bank politics.”

The Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said, “Congress’s Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that gas cylinders will be supplied to infiltrators for Rs 450. The Congress-JMM-RJD government is protecting infiltrators in Jharkhand.”

He claimed that thousands of infiltrators had entered Jharkhand and that the administration had assisted them in obtaining voter and ration cards while speaking at an election rally in the Birni neighborhood of Giridih district. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated at a different event in Bokaro: “The Congress leader has pledged to provide cylinders to Muslims, Hindus, and infiltrators. The BJP would not permit infiltrators to usurp tribal rights.

On November 20, the second round of voting will begin. Vote counting is scheduled on November 23 after the first round was completed on Wednesday.
