Aam Aadmi Party’s Bijli Andolan is continuously advancing in every city of Gujarat. Aam Aadmi Party leaders and workers have handed over application forms to the collectors of each district demanding free electricity from the BJP Government. By reaching thousands of people, they are taking the movement for free electricity forward.
Aam Aadmi Party’s Gujarat State Treasurer Shri Kailashdan Gadhvi and State Women’s President Smt Gauri Desai protested against expensive electricity in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad under the ongoing Bijli Andolan without any fear of the corrupt BJP.
AAP’s National Joint Secretary, Shri Isudan Gadhvi said, “During the Bijli Andolan of the Aam Aadmi Party, the leaders and activists of AAP were detained by the police even before the mashal yatra started in Surat yesterday regarding the demand for cheap electricity in Majura assembly. On the other hand, during the Bijli Andolan in Mahidharpura, the workers of AAP were taken into custody.”
He continued, “No matter how hard the corrupt BJP tries, the Aam Aadmi Party will never give up the path of truth and honesty and after leaving Mahidharpura police station without stopping with the same belief, AAP activists and leaders started the movement for free electricity back in the textile market.”
He added, “Aam Aadmi Party leaders and activists are succeeding in reaching out to thousands of people by organising Padayatra and Mashal Yatra under the Muft Bijli Andolan. In which AAP organised Padayatra and Mashal Yatra in Sabarmati, Naranpura, Nawa Vadaj and Chandkheda in Ahmedabad, Mahidharpura, Karanj and Varachha in Surat and Gandhinagar, Junagadh, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar and Rajkot.”
He further said, “The Aam Aadmi Party has emerged as a ray of hope for Gujarat that will save the people from BJP’s atrocities. Thus, the Aam Aadmi Party is a party of honest and patriotic people who have always taken steps for the public interest and have set a great example of good governance in the country. The people of Gujarat are now aware of this, and therefore the victory of the Aam Aadmi Party in the coming elections is certain.”
