(Husband caught red-handed)According to police reports, Vasu, who resides in Satenapalli, married Navyashree, a resident of Palakanda in Nakirekal taluka of the same district, approximately two and a half years ago. Vasu operated as a wholesaler of plastic goods in Satenapalli, sourcing items from various locations for his business. Due to her pregnancy, he had sent his wife to stay with her relatives for a month, after which he remained alone in Satenapalli.
He frequently traveled to Hyderabad for business purposes. During one of these visits, he encountered Gayatri, the daughter of a relative. This initial meeting blossomed into a romantic relationship. Subsequently, the two became involved with each other. This situation continued until his wife returned home after giving birth to their child. Despite this, he only kept Gayatri with him for a brief period before sending her back to her parents for unspecified reasons. Notably, he had not visited his wife in the past year, claiming he was out of the city, which prevented him from seeing her. Eventually, he brought Gayatri from Hyderabad to his residence in Satenapalli, where they began cohabiting. To keep this arrangement hidden from his wife, he purchased a separate house.
However, when his wife’s relatives became suspicious about this, they started keeping an eye on Vasu. During this time, they came to know that Vasu was living with Gayatri. And he met his relatives and caught him red-handed. Vasu tried to run away after seeing his wife. Along with the husband, the relatives performed the ritual of purifying the body for his lover. They put both of them in a rickshaw and took them to the police station and handed them over to the police. The police registered a case in this matter and are investigating. However, Gayatri had gone with Vasu without informing her parents. That is why her parents also filed a missing complaint at the Hyderabad police station and claimed that their daughter had gone missing.
